Properties: the purity is White powder. Technical is yellow or grayish white powder, odorous egg smell ，decomposing before melting point. Flash point is 138-143℃ It is insoluble in water and most organic solvents. It can be soluble in Pyridine and carbon disulfide. It is unstable under light, heat and moisture condition. Mixture with the strong alkali, copper and mercurial material, Zineb will reduce the efficacy with releasing carbon disulfide.

Application : Zineb is an ethylene bisdithiocarbamate protective fungicide. It is used to protect rice, wheat, vegetable ,grape, fruit, and tobacco against a wide spectrum of fungal diseases, including rust of wheat, leaf blight of corn ,tea brown spot ,damping-off of tobacco ,anthracnose of pepper, blotch of corn, blight of potato, early and late blight, leaf spot, downy mildew , scab of apple and pear and so on.
